Shezi’s win-win attitude is invaluable when managing the day to day business at HubSpoke and developing and executing strategic initiatives to position the company for long term success. He works closely with independent consultants to create their professional brand and maximize their value in the marketplace. He’s also a soccer addict who loves organizing, playing, coaching and watching.

In March 2023, Tanya made the decision to join HubSpoke, after being affected by the widespread tech lay-offs. After a single meeting with the Founder, she discovered an incredible alignment of values and a company poised to make a significant positive impact on individuals. As a dedicated coach, Tanya recognized the opportunity to amplify her influence and contribute to industry disruption, all while collaborating with an extraordinary team of like-minded individuals. Dan has been a serial entrepreneur since 2003. He developed and built his first consulting company in 2004 which was acquired by a reputable larger firm in 2010. Those were the early years when Dan was first recognized as a connector and collaborator. Dan continues to bring people together in an inclusive environment that ensures alignment and collaboration, from relationship building with consultants to forming mutually beneficial partnerships within the industry. He builds up people and uncovers opportunities that fuel their passions and talents. He works hard to discover disruptive methods that place HubSpoke as an industry leader. He also believes in the importance of having a work-life balance, creating space for oneself, and savours the time he spends outdoors or exploring new places.

Life at HubSpoke
Dan’s passion for building teams and companies led him to co-found HubSpoke. HubSpoke has given Dan the opportunity to grow and develop his leadership style. Since inception, HubSpoke has achieved several key milestones and has its sights set on growth and expansion. Dan’s dedication to winning as a team, being transparent, empowering those around him, and his support and encouragement for growth and transformation of the HubSpoke team and himself alike are all critical to the organization’s future success.
Nathalie is responsible in overseeing HubSpoke’s day-to-day financial operations and preparing high-level financial reporting and analysis to the president. She creates and implements policies and procedures that align with business strategies and growth and acts as an advisor to the president and senior business manager regarding operations. As the acting company security officer, she is also responsible for the security of personnel. Nathalie is passionate about mental fitness and continually focuses on positive thinking. She also believes in the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone.

Nathalie’s tenure with HubSpoke, which started in January 2020, comes from her excitement at being a part of such an amazing team. An out-of-the-box thinker, Joshua appreciates HubSpoke’s approach to innovation, driven by a strong sense of collaboration and a people-first perspective. Drawn to the prospect of doing things a little differently, Joshua joined HubSpoke in November 2023 and is keen to dive into some exciting projects in the pipeline, working strategically to bring them to life.
Kristiina is HubSpoke’s proposal specialist. She manages contracts and proposals. She assesses experience and credentials against the RFP and contract requirements to determine suitability. She prepares fully compliant qualifying documentation including resource evaluation criteria and resumes, and generates proposal templates and RFP responses. She also manages and maintains HubSpoke documentation including RFPs and all production and submission files, as well as client contracts and consultant sub agreements. An avid reader and big into personal growth, Kristiina has worked from home, wearing exclusively jogging pants, long before working from home became a necessity.

John is a Project Executive with 30+ years of diverse experience including a proven track record of 10+ years establishing and leading Project Management Office (PMO) services, delivering successful projects, and effectively managing complex programs. Recognized for his exceptional leadership skills, he demonstrates a unique ability to bring together diverse teams, foster collaborative environments, and is an esteemed problem solver and coach, contributing to the success of programs and projects under his purview. A self-professed Peloton addict, John also enjoys cycling along the Ottawa River during the warmer months. Originally from Northern Ireland, he came to Canada in 1996 and embraces being outnumbered at home by his wife and three daughters.

From his initial meetings, John was taken by HubSpoke’s transparent approach and interest in win-win relationships. Josh is a multi platform Cloud & Cybersecurity Solutions Architect whose 8+ years of experience includes hands-on implementation of technical architecture solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, effectively harmonizing often-conflicting priorities of security and user experience in IT modernization efforts. Passionate about developing and delivering modern, secure, cloud-first solutions, he excels in aligning technologies with specific objectives and needs to meet changing client demands. His strength as a communicator allows him to convey complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical clients, bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. Currently working toward a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Josh is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and spends a significant amount of his free time exploring topics in a wide range of interests. Seeking a change that would allow agility to work on complex projects and emerging technologies, Josh joined HubSpoke in September 2023. He has been empowered to expand his network and accelerate his consulting practice while contributing to some of the latest and greatest technology initiatives currently underway at one of Canada’s largest and most significant organizations.
Frank is a Technical Architect with 24 years of experience implementing converged systems like CISCO UCS and DELL VxRail, implementing and managing SAN storage fabrics, and implementing Cloud Infrastructure migrations. His shinning personality and approachable demeanour is appreciated by clients particularly when addressing complex technical issues in simple business terms. Frank is mentor at HubSpoke always willing to inspire and coach junior and intermediate IT professionals. He coaches his sons’ soccer and basketball teams and is quite the DIY’er having completed home renovations and backyard projects.

This sharing of information has armed him with the knowledge required for carrying out his role as a trusted advisor to his clients.
With 13 years of experience as a Project Executive, Mike has provided briefings at various levels, up to the Chief of Defence Staff and the Minister of National Defence. He has provided advice to stakeholders while balancing project risks and derived key requirements, and guiding projects through DND approval processes. Being a former member of the Canadian Snowbirds and an active CF18 pilot and a flight instructor, Mike understands how critical trust and competence is within a team environment. Mike spends his spare time completing home renovations, flying his airplane and exercising his creative side through woodworking.

Upon becoming a HubSpoke partner in September 2020, Mike has been able to nurture his entrepreneurial interest and be an integral part of HubSpoke’s growth plans. HubSpoke helped Mike create a smooth transition plan from military to civilian consulting and has further provided Mike with an encouraging foundation to pursue new opportunities without advancement barriers.
Andre Batson is a highly accomplished Senior IT Security Specialist with 18 years of experience delivering cost-effective and high-performance IT security solutions. With a focus on network security, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), VPN security, and web security, Andre provides valuable subject matter advice and strategic recommendations that align with business and technology objectives. Andre is a former CFL football player and while he is still passionate about playing sports, he gets the most joy when coaching his twin boys in soccer.

Most notably Jon has been an influential program manager and technology advisor working within the Joint Defence Cloud Program (JDCP), which has been the launching pad of cloud within the military including delivering services (IaaS, Paas and SaaS) of new technological offerings. Jon maintains his level of knowledge at the highest level by pursuing forward thinking certifications that allow him to be a subject matter expert. When not fighting fires at work or presenting concepts to senior officials, Jon spends time training for triathlons and interacting with the CrossFit community as well as developing his 25-acre dream property.

Being a founding member of HubSpoke has permitted Jon to grow his professional consulting practice and fuel his entrepreneurial passion. Above all, being a part of HubSpoke has enriched him with many long-lasting personal and business relationships.
Terrence is a successful technical Project Manager of 23 years, specializing in bridging the gap between the business client, project management, finance, Cloud technical architecture and corporate security to move projects through the project management governance, procurement, design, build, test and delivery. His sound foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture, sense of balance between the roles of project manager and technical advisor and ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms make him an invaluable asset on complex IT initiatives. Terrence gives back to the youth in his community by running local neighbourhood rinks, something he has enjoyed for 14 years and counting.

Ram is a Senior Cloud Technical and Solution Architect with over 15 years of experience in designing, building, deploying and supporting enterprise architectures using Microsoft Azure, Exchange/O365, CISCO, Citrix, VMware and Cloud, including Public Cloud using MS Azure. His experience extends to Datacenter migrations and Network and System virtualization in complex information technology environments. His cloud experience also extends to the development, configuration and optimization of VMware technologies. Ram is involved in all technical architecture, design and hands-on implementation aspects to ensure that the solutions meet the objectives and align with the defined architectures of DND’s Azure/O365 cloud infrastructure initiatives and vision.
